Declaration of Purpose
United by the strong and faithful tie of an agricultural fraternity, yet welcoming all of good moral character to membership, we mutually resolve to labor for the good of our organization, our country and the human race.
We heartily endorse the motto: In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity."

Our objectives:
To develop a better manhood & womanhood among ourselves;
to enhance the comforts of our homes;
to strengthen our attachment to our pursuits;
to foster mutual understanding & cooperation;
to maintain inviolate our laws;
and to emulate each other in labor.

We meet together, talk together, work together, and in general, act together for our mutual protection & advancement. We strive to secure good will, harmony, brotherhood & sisterhood.
We earnestly endeavor to suppress personal, local, sectional and national prejudices,
all unhealthy rivalry and all selfish ambition.
We remember that individual happiness depends upon general prosperity.
We advance the cause of education and believe that education begins in the family circle. Discipline is an essential part of education, and self-discipline comes with maturity. Education is a life-long endeavor and we encourage all to continue their education through classes, reading, observation and by what other methods might be available.
We are agriculturally based, family & community oriented,
and dedicated to the pure principles of equality under Constitutional Law.
We appeal to all good citizens for mutual cooperation toward reform that we might
remove from our communities, nation and world, the last vestige of inequality and corruption.
We are not a partisan nor party organization, and we therefore teach the principles of true statesmanship, if properly carried out, will serve to purify the whole political atmosphere of our country. We seek the greatest good for the greatest number. We acknowledge the broad principle that differences of opinion are not crimes, and hold that differences of opinion lead to progress and truth, but fault lies in the bitterness of controversy.
We desire a proper fairness, equality, protection for the weak, restraint upon the strong, and justly distributed power. These are American ideals and the very essence of American independence
and to advocate the contrary is unworthy of an American.
We believe sectionalism is to be buried with the past, and our work is for the present and future.
